Poncho For iPod the Labradoodle
Ok several weeks ago I dyed cotton ribbon and had not clue what to do with it. Over the weekend I found this great book called "Viva Pncho - Twenty Ponchos and Capelets to Knit" by Christina Stork & Leslie Barbazette. I was not found of the yarn colors that I had dyed until it was wound and after I started knitting with it. I was so excited when I decided to make this cute doggie poncho for my Labradoodle. The pictures below will explain more detail:

Here it is. My new project I was going to start. Notice in the first picture it is all neat and tidy and ready to move along - and notice that there are 2 needles. Well with in hours I am now down to 1 needle, can't frog it because the dog for which this was going to be fore decided to eat it. Hum... is this a sign that "The Pod Man" does not want a poncho?

After "The Pod Man" got a hold of his poncho... Notice the broken yarn on the book. He ate one needled and was eating the yarn when I found him.... Anyone want a Labradoodle??? Free to go home - does not mesh well with knitters, shoes, 2x4's (Yes he eats 2x4 lumber)... No he is not for sale or is up for adoption. I just have about 18 more months of puppy syndrome... LOL

Oh, dear.. and here I thought getting through the feline "teenage" period was difficult. I've come downstairs to find a skein of yarn turned practically inside out and tangled or a ball of yarn artfully draped over and around every piece of furniture in site, but they've never ever eaten my needles! {g}
