I'm B A C K . . . .
Yeap... I am finally back from the dead. I have been sick with the flu for over 3 weeks now and I am just now starting to feel a tad bit normal. I have been so sick that I have not even been able to pick up needles or a hook. To explain just how sick I have been - I have let my laundry pile up now for some time. It is to the point there is no clean close around here. 28 loads to go. Did I mention that I hate laundry??? Well I would love to say that I have not been doing anything while I have been sick but life goes on whether I am up or in bed. As many of you know my stepson was coming home 4 weeks ago for convalescent leave from the Army to recover from a motorcycle accident. Well he got here and it has been a blast with him. He leaves tomorrow but will be back in about 1 month for good. He is finished with his tour in the Army. Yee Pee! Between sleeping a lot lately and trying to get over being sick we have taken him all over the coast. He even found time to hook up with a fantastic girl. No moss growing under his feet. As we plan for his returning trip we have gotten to know him so much. Tonight we are having one more family gathering. (30+ people - and that is just family) before he leaves tomorrow at 4 am. So MY thought is that I possible will be able to go through all my email that I have missed over the last month and get organized so I can get back to making all my projects. I guess the good news is that I have officially been on a yarn diet for 3 1/2 weeks... woo hoo... but that soon will end now that I am back with the living. First things are first I need to finish a buttonhole bag that I have started and a booga bag that I have also started. I will post pictures later when I have a chance. I only have 1038 emails left to read and get caught up. Between laundry/email and family I will be back tomorrow.
Thanks to everyone for all the notes of get well and best wishes. I am on the mend....
Thank You!
