Lots going on around here...

Well a lot has gone on around here this weekend. I started by starting a new cast on. I casted on an iPod sock which I will post pattern and pictures later. I also went with Christy to Weaver's Cottage on Saturday and rented my first spinning wheel. I thought that I would not want to do spinning but after seeing John spin and after listening to Elf show Christy how to I was so intreged I rented a wheel to see if I would be intered it it. I was and I am so excited. BUT I figured once again that I put the cart before the horse. I rented the wheel before taking a class. I have not even used a drop spindle so I guess that I will just have to take the next class that they have coming up. Either at Weaver's Cottage or at "Stitch Cafe" - John teaches at both but I am not sure where I will be able to take a class at with my schedule.

As for knitting well I went over to ABC's of Creative Pursuits on Friday afternoon and on Sunday and just had a great time knitting with everyone. I currently have too many projects on the needles but I am slowly coming back from the sick. I started to knit the Lion Brand iPod sock but as usual I have made my own pattern.

Well I had better get going. Dishes are calling my name along with Laundry.
