Yarn for Felted Buttonhole KAL 2005

Here it is... as you all know I started a yarn diet. And I am sure by now you can figure I did not make it 24 hours... LOL but this is for a purpose. I am in a Felted Buttonhole Bag KAL and this is the yarn that I got for the project. From what I am told it felts really well. We shall see about that since this will be my very very first felting project. I fell in love with the colors a teal and a purple the photo really does not do it justice. The yarn is made in Chile and is 100% wool/ 3.52 oz. 250 yds. per skein with a 18 stitches/24 rows = 4x4 they suggest a 5-7 size needle. If you would like more information regarding this yarn by Araucania Yarns visit them at www.araucaniayarns.com *KFI distributes their yarn in the USA. If you would like more information regarding the KAL visit us here at Felted Bag KAL ~ The pattern I will be using is the unpattern bag *Please note this KAL is not to be confused with the Knitting Chicks Felted Bag KAL which is an awesome KAL to also be in. Their KAL uses a pattern by Knitty.com you can check them out HERE The pattern that I will be using for the Felted Buttonhole KAL can be found here on The MasonDixonKnitting Blog I hope you enjoy the information. ~ Janet

I'd like to hear how the Nature Wool felts. I have a skein of the dark green in my stash and I think I'd like to try it for felting. Love the pink kid mohair!
