My First Attempt at Yarn Dyeing
If you have been reading my blog you would have read that 2 weeks ago I went to a store in the Los Angeles, California area by the name of "Stitch Cafe" for a day of dyeing wool/silk fibers. I posted pictures of what it looked like right after the dyeing process. But last night I actually got my yarn which is finsihed. I am so please with my first attempt at the process. I dyed both a 100% silk hank and a 100% wool. They both turned out so much better then what I could have imagined. Here they are:

I will be making an iPod Cozy with the wool and I am not sure what I am going to be doing for the silk.
So what do you think?

They're both beautiful! I especially like the multicolored one - it looks like Grateful Dead tie-dye {g}
