Vegas Scarf Finished

Here it is as promissed. This is my version of the Vegas Scarf. I started it on Friday at our LYS with several others. The truly was the game to play and have fun. I choose very bright colored yarns but together they tamed each other down. Here are the STATS on this scarf. Size US15 - 32 in. circular needle. Casted on 140 but could have casted on approx 160. I used a total of 7 different yarns and left long tails for the self fringing. For information on how to play the game check out www.jeloca.com/game.html this is a fantastic game to play with a group of people. Try it you will love it! Stay tuned for more adventures in my knitting life.  Posted by Picasa

a knitting guild here in MASS did this same scarf but called it a surprise scarf. and each row could be a different yarn or as many colors and yarns as they wanted and knitted to width wanted. So much fun to do and a great way to use up odd balls/skeins hanging around. Very kwel how each persons scarf came out ! Glad you enjoyed yourself! Yours looks wonderful! I love the yarn choices

Very colorful and fun, Janet. Should be lots of fun to wear - and it looks great with the denim jacket!

Hi,
I'm trying to put together a gallery of Vegas Scarves and was wondering if I could have your permission to use your photo. I'm so glad you liked playing the Knitting Game!
